REQUIRED $100 REFUNDABLE CLEANING DEPOSIT
Upon checkout:
Your refundable cleaning deposit is mailed out within 5 business days, based on the following upon your departure:
1.Please place any used bedding or towels into the hampers provided. If there are wet or damp towels, please leave them hanging on the towel bars in the bathroom.
2.Please remove all of your food & trash from the premises and place the items into the outside trash receptacles provided. All trash must be bagged, the trash removal company will not take loose items or recyclables such as cardboard.
3.Please wipe up any spillage in the fridge, stove, or microwave (if necessary) and wash any dirty dishes.
4.If you used the kayaks during your stay, please ensure the kayaks are wiped out if needed and the paddles & dry life vests are returned to their original/storage locations. The kayaks should be returned and secured to their storage racks.
5.If the outdoor grill was used please ensure that it is cleaned. Cleaning instructions located in cottage amenities book, and the cleaning kit is located in cabinet over the refrigerator. Do not clean outdoor grill racks in kitchen sink as they will scratch the sink and may chip the countertop.
6.If washer/dryer used, please leave washer door open and clean lint filter on dryer
7.Please ensure the thermostat is set at 50 degrees.
8.Please check for all personal belongings, we are not responsible for any items left behind.
9.Please leave the cottage keys on the dining room table and close & lock all windows and doors as you depart.

UPDATED CANCELLATION POLICY:
45 day cancellations are subject to a full refund of your deposit amount. Any cancellation under 45 days, the deposit amount is forfeited. However if the property is rented for the cancelled week even though the cancellation notification was under 45 days, this will result in a full refund.

A $800.00 deposit per week by check or money order must be received within 7 business days of placing the reservation for it to be guaranteed. After 7 business days the reservation is considered “canceled”. Upon receipt of the deposit a rental confirmation is mailed out with the remaining balance due 16 days before check in.
